The North Branch School Board celebrated the accomplishments of the track state meet participants one more time last week, presenting certificates and pens to the students who went to state. Jenny Anderson, Joe Lofboom, Bill Oehlers, Al Moore, Aaron Cedergren, Cody Good, Nick Sausen and Nick Ramberg (not pictured) were the second largest contingent the district has sent in the track program's history, according to coach Brian Hasleiet. The 4x800 relay team members were section champs and three are sophomores, so the coach said he's looking forward to next year with these runners. Joe Lofboom (third from right) broke the conference record in pole vault with a leap of 14 feet and one inch. Al Moore made the North Branch record books posting the third fastest 100 meter hurdle event in school history. Bill Oehlers also holds the number three spot in district history with his season shotput.
