John Lammert Jr., of Stacy, died March 7, 2005, at the age of 68 years.

He was born in Rice Lake, Wis., Nov. 20, 1936, to parents John and Adelaide (Matton) Lammert.

He entered the Air Force in 1956 and was honorably discharged in 1959.

John enjoyed various hobbies-leatherworking, making candles, calligraphy and gardening to name a few.

He was also employed at Tastee Bakery and Holman Field as a security guard.

John is preceded in death by his parents, two sisters, one brother, a niece and great niece, and a nephew.

He is survived by four sisters: Elvera (Harvey) Arndt, Sylvia (Roy) Bracht, Gloria (Warren) Westlund and Verna (David) Ittner. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were held Friday, March 11, 2005, at St. John's Lutheran Church, in Stacy. Private family interment.
