Gwendolyn Juanita Kolb (Peterson, Allison nee Stenberg), age 83, of Lindstrom, died March 19, 2005, at the Margaret S. Parmly Residence.

Gwen was born Oct. 12, 1921, in Lindstrom, Minn., to Arthur and Helen (Peterson) Stenberg. Gwen worked as a home health aide and homemaker. She enjoyed hand stitchery, crafts, baking, reading, studying the bible and spending time with her grandchildren.

Gwendolyn is preceded in death by her parents; two brothers: Burton and Jerry; granddaughter, Sheri; three husbands: Harold Allison, Paul Peterson and Edward Kolb.

She is survived by children: Patti and Dennis Peterson, of North Branch, Minn.; Joanne and Jerry Flanagan, of Stacy, Minn.; Kent and Paulette Allison, of Chisago City, Minn.; Roger and Glenice Allison, of St. Paul, Minn.; and Gene and Charlotte Kolb, of Casper, Wyoming; 11 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren; four great-great grandchildren; many other relatives and friends.

Funeral services were Tuesday, March 22, 2005, at Chisago Lakes Evangelical Free Church, with Rev. Richard Stanghelle officiating. Interment in Fairview Cemetery, in Lindstrom. Arrangements by Grandstrand Funeral Home, in Lindstrom.
