Woodrow P. Johnson, of Chisago City, died May 16, 2005, at the age of 92 years.

He was born March 4, 1913, in Shafer, Minn., to parents Henry and Ada Marie Johnson. He married Elsie Wrasper June 13, 1937.

Woodrow was a State Trooper and Commericial Properties Business Manager, as well as first manager of Apache Plaza. He was also a member of the Masonic Lodge. He earned several awards.

Woodrow enjoyed lapidary, hunting and fishing.

He is preceded in death by his parents, brothers: Abner and Darrel Johnson; and sister, Julibell Shellenbarger.

Woodrow is survived by his wife Elsie; daughters: Kay Hansen and Jo M. Tennison; son, Don L. Johnson; three grandchildren; and four greatgrandchildren.

Memorial service 11 a.m., Wednesday, May 25, 2005, at Point Pleasant Dining Room, in Chisago City. Private family interment. Arrangements by Grandstrand Funeral Home in Lindstrom.

Memorials preferred to Parmly Point Pleasant Campus Maintenance Fund.
