Ken was born to Floyd and Bertha (Voge) Davison Oct. 13, 1921, in Deer Creek, Minn. He served in the United States Navy during WWII and rose to the rank of Chief Petty Officer.
He married Gail Young, in Peru, Ill., June 28, 1946. She preceded him in death.
Ken married Lois Woolridge July 3, 1974, at Ascension Lutheran Church, in Ames, Iowa, of which he was a member. He also was a member of American Legion Post 37 and the Elks. He farmed in central Illinois for 18 years and was employed by Sundstrand until his retirement in 1983. He enjoyed woodworking and trailering.
Ken is survived by his wife, Lois Davison, of Ames, Iowa; daughters: Nancy Lee and Peggy Glider, both of Tuscon, Arizona; and Janet Johnson, of George, Iowa; stepsons: Scott Olsen, of Ames, Iowa; and Dr. Craig Olsen, of Austin, Texas; six grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, seven brothers and sisters.
He is preceded in death by his parents and four brothers and sisters.
A memorial service will be held Friday, Nov. 25, at 2 p.m. at Stevens Memorial Chapel, in Ames, Iowa, with Pastor John Anderson officiating. Military rites will be conducted by American Legion Post 37. Burial will follow in Ames Municipal Cemetery.
