Sunrise Bassmasters add first Youth Fishing Day to tournament schedule
Marlon Reese, 12, caught two bass during the Youth Fishing Day coordinated by Sunrise Bassmasters on Forest Lake, Saturday, October 1. The larger of the two fish weighed in at 4.3 pounds. Marlon’s guide was Rob Barrett.
Everyone who participated enjoyed this year’s Youth Fishing Day, a new activity in advance of the Sunrise Bassmasters Fishing Tournament. Youth Fishers include Marlon Reese, Amber Moore, Danny Storvick and Clarissa Rivera. Sunrise Bassmasters guides include Aaron Perrault, Greg Lindblom, Russ Cooper and Rob Barrett.
Danny Storvick, Scandia, caught a bass just over one pound in Forest Lake, Saturday, October 1, during Sunrise Bassmasters Youth Fishing Day. He fished with his dad, Paul, and his guide, Aaron Perrault.
Pam Trudeau, YSB staff member, accepts a check for $635 from Sunrise Bassmasters club member Greg Lindblom. The donation represents proceeds from the annual Sunrise Bassmasters Tournament held Sunday, October 2, 2005. YSB youth volunteers include Taylor Shoonover, Shana Hansen, Stephanie Pellegrini, Carly Wallen, and intern Katie McNattin.
