“We were more able to compete in this match, but some of our players did not play well. Travis Heilig won at fourth singles and is learning and improving fast. Ken Koski and Brandt Rasmussen won at second doubles, playing with energy and passion from start to finish. Senior Ben Forrest looked good at second singles, but lost 4-6, 3-6,” was McLaughlin’s summary of the Thursday, April 13 meet at St. Francis.

“Along with having two ineligible players, senior Blake Anderson, our first singles player, was out sick. Once again we needed to change our lineup,” said Coach McLaughlin.
In the meet at North Branch Tuesday, April 18 Dan Mork played well at second singles but lost 4-6, 1-6 according to Viking coach Tom McLaughlin. Travis Heilig also played well at fourth singles, but lost by the same score. Ken Koski and Brandt Rasmussen played hard at first doubles before losing 5-7, 3-6.
