Taylors Falls Elementary held their D.A.R.E. graduation Dec. 6. Valencia Adams, Collin Schladweiler, and Reahna Reid represented their classes by reading their written essays before fellow graduates and guests that attended the graduation that afternoon.  Chris Anderson, Drug Court candidate, was the guest speaker and he spoke to the graduates about what drugs could do to you at an early age, giving specifics from his personal experiences. Chris highly encouraged the parents and students to keep an open line of communication to avoid going down the road he went down.  Detective Tim Tougas worked with the classes for the past 10 weeks and the students all agreed that they learned what they needed to to say "NO" to drugs and alcohol.  The Lakes Area Police Department has been conducting the D.A.R.E. Program in the Chisago Lakes School District since 1995.
