The Chisago Lakes-St. Croix Falls alpine skiing team hosted the Wild Mountain Invitational Friday, December 22. Both the boys’ and girls’ teams won their divisions of the 27 school event.

The CL-SFC boys edged the Minneapolis Alpine Skiing Club 599 to 597 to take first place. St. Thomas Academy was third with 579 points.

The Wildcat girls won by a more comfortable margin. The CL-SCF skiers collected 492 points. Minnetonka was second with 452 and Stillwater was third with 447.

Katelyn Garbe was the top Wildcat finisher. The Wildcat sophomore came in fourth in the girls’ competition. Wildcat senior Dominic Raedeke came in eighth to lead his team in the boys’ division.

The CL-SCF skiers are back in action Thursday, January 4 when they host Coon Rapids. The meet, at Wild Mountain, will start at 5:30 p.m.
