The Chisago Lakes boys’ ski team and Wildcat senior Brianna Stoeckman competed in the Minnesota State Ski Meet Thursday, February 16.

The event, held at Giant’s Ridge in Biwabik, includes both team and individual competition. The CL boys, Mitch Peterson, Doinick Raedeke, Gus Garbe, Dan Sandgren, Phillip Bottjen and Andrew Wagner, finished seventh in the team event with a total of 90 points. The Blake School was the team champion with 174 points, followed by Duluth East (154).

In the individual boys’ race, Wildcat junior Raedeke came in 24th with a time of 1:17.15 Patrick Conway of Minneapolis Southwest won in 1:10.81.

Stoeckman was 29th in the girls’ race with a time of 1:27.57. Duluth East senior Sonja Jennings came in first in 1:10.3. The girls’ team champion is Duluth East (166 points). Stillwater took second with 155.
