Chisago Lakes ski team keeps unbeaten record intact with win in dual meets
The Wildcat girls were led by Katelyn Kinzer as they beat Coon Rapids 47-8. Chisago Lakes skiers took the first two places and eight of the ten scoring positions. Kinzer’s times (26.05 + 25.59 = 51.64) allowed her to finish 1.5 seconds ahead of Chisago’s Brianna Stockman and more than five seconds ahead of the first Rapids skier.
The boys swept the first six spots and nine of the 10 scoring positions on the way to a 51-4 win. Wildcat Seth Kinzer had the best time on each run as he won the individual event. His time (25.63 + 26.13 = 51.76) put him about two seconds ahead of teammates Gus Garbe and Dominick Raedeke and a full five seconds ahead of the first Rapids skier.
The Wildcats were scheduled to face Blaine January 9 at Trollhaugen and to host Centennial tonight (1/12) at Wild Mountain.
