Stanley F. Johnson was born Jan. 16, 1923. He passed away July 14, 2006, in Taylors Falls, Minn., after an extended illness.

Stan was raised in Forest Lake, Minn., and proudly served in Europe during World War II.

He is survived by Bonnie, wife of 59 years, who lovingly cared for him to the end. He is also survived by daughters: Christine (Bill) Erickson, Cathleen (Bob) Coats and by son, Darrell (Debbie) Johnson; also nine grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren, and brother, Jerry.

He is preceded in death by son, Jeffrey; parents, Frank and Mabel; and brother, Norman.

Visitation at Edling Funeral Home, St. Croix Falls, Wis., Wednesday, July 19, from 6-8 p.m. Funeral services are at First Lutheran Evangelical Church, in Taylors Falls, Thursday, July 20, at 2 p.m. Visitation one hour prior to service.
