Grace M. Peterson
She was born January 19, 1917, to George W. and Anna C. Palmer, in Chisago City.
She was preceded in death by her husband, A. Harold Peterson.
"Granny Grace" will be deeply missed by sons: Jon (Claudia) Peterson of Seattle, WA; Kim (Laurie) Peterson of Del Mar, CA; and daughter, Martha (Bill) Bevan of Vail, CO; grandchildren: Chris and Matt Peterson, Sarah and Claire Peterson, Terry (Molly), Brian and P.J. Bevan; and the many friends of all ages who knew and loved her.
Grace graduated from Chisago City High School and Gustavus Adolphus College.
A devoted wife and mother and awesome grandmother, she will be remembered by her warm and engaging presence and zest for life.
A memorial service will be held 2 p.m., Monday, June 12, at Zion Lutheran Church in Chisago City.
Memorials preferred to Zion Lutheran Church Building Fund or Fairview Lakes Hospice.
