Grossman leads UW-Stevens Point Pointers to Frozen Four
The Pointers have qualified for the Frozen Four for the second time in three years after posting a 2-0 quarterfinal win over UW-Superior on Saturday. UW-Stevens Point won the Northern Collegiate Hockey Association regular season league title and the conference tournament championship.
The Pointers are 20-4-4 overall and boast the longest unbeaten streak (15) in the country.
Grossman, a freshman forward, assisted both goals in the quarterfinal win and is the team’s leading scorer with 16 goals and nine assists. She was the team’s only first team all-NCHA performer and set a single-season school record this year with three shorthanded goals.
Grossman is the daughter of Doug and Kathy Grossman of Lindstrom.
