Brendan McNally, a 2003 graduate of Chisago Lakes High School, was named to the UMAC (Upper Midwest Athletic Conference) all-conference first team. McNally is a junior at the University of Minnesota, Morris. This is the third time he’s been named to the all-conference basketball team.

This season McNally was the Cougars’ leading scorer (422 points-16.9/game) and rebounder (7.0/game). He was also in the UMAC top ten in eight categories.

#1-3 point shooting (48 percent).

#3-field goal percentage (56 percent) and blocked shots.

#4-rebounds/game.

#5-scoring and defensive rebounds/game.

#7-offensive rebounds/game

#8-freethrows (79 percent).

McNally is 11th on the UMM all-time scoring list with 1,057 points and he hauled in 395 rebounds.

He is the son of Dan and Vicky McNally of Lindstrom.
