Girls' Basketball Review
“For the rest of the team, we need to get back in the gym this summer and keep working hard. Next season should be fun, as we have most of our team returning,” said North Branch head coach Dan Schindler.
The Vikings ended their season 20-9. This is the eighth time the team has won 20 games or more in a season. Six of those have been in the last seven years.

“This only happens when you have girls in the program that dedicate themselves to working hard and striving towards excellence. I have been very lucky to be able to coach at North Branch, where the girls have done that,” Schindler continued.
“I would also like to thank all my assistant coaches for all their hard work they do that goes unnoticed to most people. Brian Hasleiet received Section Assistant Coach of the Year Award before the Section 6AAA championship game, something he certainly deserved. Adam Lamoureux and Trent Grams work very hard and also deserve a lot of credit for our team’s successes.
“And last, I would like to thank our fans and everyone who has supported us over the years,” the coach concluded.
Congratulations to the team and coaches for another exciting season.
