Robert J. Mulroy "Bob," age 74, of Chisago City, died at home April 30, 2006, after a brave battle with cancer.

He was born September 27, 1931, in Minneapolis, Minn., to James and Grace Mulroy.

He married Betty LaRoche May 26, 1951, at Corpus Christie Catholic Church.

He is preceded in death by wife of 53 years, Betty; his parents and two sons-in-law.

He is survived by children: Jeanne Dixon, Bill Mulroy, Sharon Greene, and Beth Mauer; nine grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; brother, James; sister, Judy.

Mass of Christian Burial 11 a.m., Thursday, May 4, 2006, at St. Bridget of Sweden Catholic Church. Visitation Wednesday 6-8 p.m., at Grandstrand Funeral Home and one hour prior to mass at church. Burial at St. John the Baptist Cemetery, New Brighton, Minn. Grandstrand Funeral Home, 651-257-4000.
