Keith David Paul Berg, beloved husband, father, grandfather and dear friend, age 51, entered into eternity May 5, 2006, of multiple myloma.

Keith was born July 3, 1954, in Stillwater, Minn., to Donald and Mary Berg. He graduated from Stillwater High School in 1972 and St. Paul Technical College in 1980. Keith's military honors were Hughes Leadership Award, multiple Good Conduct medals, the Bronze German Army Weapons Qualification Badge, Mechanics Badge, multiple letters and awards of Commendation and Appreciation. He also graduated from the United States Army Drill Sergeant School.

Keith married Jeanne Kay Kent August 4, 1972, at South Carolina. After the service he worked as an electrician at Linner Electric in Stillwater for 28 years. His interests and hobbies were Jail Ministry, spreading the gospel, and woodworking.

He is preceded in death by father, Donald.

Keith is survived by wife, Jeanne; daughter, Tami (Glen) Doebbeling; son, Casey (Erin) Berg; grandchildren: Chloe, Noah and Abbigale; mother, Mary (Wilbur) Casperson.

Funeral service 11 a.m., Thursday, May 11, 2006, at Sunrise Bible Church, Sunrise, Minn., with visitation one hour prior to service at church. Burial at South Green Lake Cemetery, Chisago City, Minn. Grandstrand Funeral Home, 651-257-4000, is in charge of arrangements.
