The Wildcats’ girls’ track team came in fourth in a quadrangular meet at St. Louis Park Tuesday, May 2. Laura Biersach had the only first place finish for the Wildcats winning the 100 meter hurdles.

Second-place finishers included Emmy Wold in the 800 meter run, Brenna Coyle in the shot put, the 4x800 team of Kristin Tengwall, Emmy Wold, Danielle Vitali and Kara Orwoll and the 4x100 team of Linnea Osterberg, Biersach, MacKenzie Maher and Shana Meath.

Several individual Wildcats had third-place finishes: Tengwall in the 400 meter run, Tara Wilson in the high jump and Kim Johnson in the shot put.

The Wildcats hosted a seven-team meet Friday, May 5. We’ll report on that meet next week. They were scheduled to participate in a True Team meet at North Branch Tuesday, May 9. And the conference meet begins Tuesday, May 16 at 4 p.m. at Robbinsdale Cooper in New Hope.
