The Wildcats went 2-1 during the final week of the regular season. They pounded St. Louis Park 11-0 at St. Louis Park Monday, May 15.

In their last regular season home game of the year, Tuesday, May 16, they eked out a thrilling 1-0 win over the Irondale Knights.

And they closed out the season with a 2-1 loss to the Vikings at North Branch Thursday, May 18.

The single-elimination Section 4AAA tournament takes place this week and next week at McKnight Fields. The Wildcats (10-10 overall, 6-7 conference) were scheduled to face Andover in the first round of the tournament Monday, May 22. If they continued to win, they would play Tuesday, May 23, Thursday, May 25 and Monday, May 30. All game times are at 4:30. If they make it to the championship game, they’ll play Tuesday, May 31 at 6 p.m.
