Despite record, season was a success for Wildcat girls
"They have worked very hard and have committed a lot of time in the last four years to Chisago Lakes girls' basketball. They are excellent role models for our youth teams in the community. Words that describe the five players are - mentally tough, consistent, determined, disciplined, leaders and, most importantly, unselfish. They always put their team before themselves. It was a privilege to get to work with the girls and I wish I could have worked with them all four years. They will be missed next year," Mundahl added.

Already thinking about next season, coach Mundahl said, "The 2007-2008 season outlook is a positive one. We have a mix of experienced players coming back, along with young players who will need to contribute early on in the season. We will return 13 letterwinners and five of those players, Megan Corradi, Kori Sells, Brenna Coyle, Alyssa Lundberg and Amanda Farrell, will be seniors. Having a decent size senior class, they will be expected to take over the leadership role and play consistent basketball.
"Mackenzie Maher and Rachel Lukasik, who saw significant time at the varsity level, will also be expected to make bigger contributions next year. Overall, we have an excellent group of kids returning and our 10th and 9th grade teams did well this past season. So, I'm looking forward to see who works hard over the summer and can make an impact right away. All of the players worked extremely hard this season and really came together as a team, which was our number one goal. I enjoyed working with this group and I'm very optimistic about next year," Mundahl concluded.
