Loretta A. "Granny" Roush, of the Margaret Parmly Residence, died Wednesday, April 4, at the age of 94.

Loretta was born July 14, 1912, at Minneapolis, to Jeremiah and Mathilda Ryan. November 21, 1934, she married Dewey Roush at Forest Lake.

She was a lifelong wife, mother and homemaker. Loretta enjoyed gardening, crocheting and her grandchildren.

Loretta is preceded in death by her husband, Dewey; daughter, Judy Nelson; brothers: John and James Ryan, and an infant son.

She is survived by her sons: Jim (Audrey), Gale (Betty), Richard (Karen Alling), David (Linda), Lynn (Patty), Doug (Sharon), son-in-law Wayne Nelson, sister Marcella Swenson, 21 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were held Saturday, April 7, at the United Methodist Church in Taylors Falls, with Rev. Dr. Roland Robinson, officiating. Music was provided by Myrna Westen and Mary Roush. Interment was in the Oak Park Cemetery, Forest Lake. Arrangements by the Grandstrand Funeral Home.
