The Chisago Lakes golf teams have started their weather delayed seasons. Friday, April 13, the boys were defeated 319-329 by Mounds View in an 18 hole match at Tanner's Brook. Monday, April 16, both teams got off to a strong start with conference wins over St. Francis at home.

Chisago Lakes vs. St. Francis

The Wildcat girls defeated St. Francis 212-223 to go 1-0 in North Suburban Conference play on a beautiful day on the Chisago Lakes Golf Course. Junior Megan Corradi took medalist honors with a 50 to lead the Wildcats.

"It was a solid round - nothing spectacular, but definitely a nice way to start the season," said Wildcat coach Jeanne Hawkinson. "We haven't had many practices and need some time to work on mechanics. Everyone stated things they needed to work on, now if we only get a day to practice."

The boys recorded four sub-40 scores to overwhelm the Saints by a score of 149 to 181 and pick up a conference point. Luke Angrimson, Scott Liebsch and Nick Bratrud carded identical 37's and Aron Duren was right behind with a solid 38.
