Family Pathways 15K & 5K Run/Walk Fundraiser
Family Pathways 15K & 5K Run/Walk Fundraiser

Saturday was a beautiful day for 210 people to come out and run or walk either in the 15K or 5K. It was great to see the families and little ones, the familiar faces and the new faces. Adding the 15K was great, Anthony Peter showed us he not only can win 5K's but 15K's as well. See all the race results in the sports section.

We would like to thank all the runners/walkers, volunteers and sponsors for making this year's race successful and fun. This fundraiser was for Family Pathways youth programs for special needs teens and underprivileged youth.

Jim Moen and Tim Ryan did a great job entertaining the crowd and getting the runners off to a great start.

Winners of the prizes are: Youngest Male Runner was Max McDonough and youngest female runner was Alyssa Vanornum. They each won a $20 gift certificate to Family Dollar. Biggest Group winner was from Weight Watchers, they won a Tiki Steve's pontoon ride. The Largest Family prize was a tie between the Magnuson and McDonough's. They split the prize, which was 4 snow tubing passes to Wild Mountain, movie rentals from Video Vault and McDonald's meal coupons. The most mature runner was Roger Anderson, he won two meals at Denny's and car service at Fisk Tire. Prizes were also given out for registering early, this was from Tortilla's and Fairview Lakes Health Services won a DQ cake for being the best cheer zone/water station.
