Staff members have named Sam Loiland and Jacy Houle as Students of the Month for October at TRIO Wold Creek.  These students received a certificate and trophy for their achievement.

Sam Loiland is a senior from Scandia who started at TRIO Wolf Creek as a sophomore. Sandy Flint, Sam's learning manager, explains why she nominated him, "Sam consistently turns in excellent work each term while working two outside jobs. He is very self-motivated and deserves recognition as an outstanding student at TRIO Wolf Creek."

Jacy Houle is a sophomore from Stacy who started at TRIO Wolf Creek this past summer. "Jacy is a very bright student and consistently completes weekly assignments, communicates effectively, and finished all of her classes last term early. This past term was busy for her both at school and outside of school. She is a great student, one I enjoy bragging about!" said her learning manager, Cassie Gaede.
