CL gymnasts at St. Francis, host five-school Invitational
Chisago Lakes at St. Francis
The Saints outpointed the Wildcats 137.600 to 124.125 despite some outstanding performances by CL senior Britni Harris. Harris was first in the parallel bars, the beam, the floor exercise and the all-around. She finished second in the vault, even though she recorded a career high 9.350 on the vault.
"We did okay overall," said Wildcat head coach Brett Kjos. "We still had trouble staying on the beam. We need to work harder in practice to keep improving meet-to-meet."
Chisago Lakes Invitational
The Wildcats recorded their best score of the season at their own invite. "The girls did a great job," said coach Kjos. "Everyone was present, for the first time all season. We should continue to improve as our routines become better with higher level skills."
Amanda Bergerson (beam), Sam Thomsen (vault) and Alicia Sokol (vault) earned all-time personal bests at the meet.
