As reported in the December 28, 2006 issue of the County Press, the Chisago Lakes alpine skiing team won boys', girls' and combined divisions of the Wild Mountain Invitational.

Bloomington Jefferson's Krissy McNiell (30.60 + 32.06 = 62.66) won the girls' race. Patrick Conway, of the Minneapolis Alpine Ski Team, was the fastest boy (29.29 + 31.18 = 60.47).
