Lou Ella was born May 15, 1918, in South Dakota to Henry and Clara Mogck. Lou Ella attended a one-room schoolhouse and dreamed of becoming a nurse. She achieved that dream when she moved to St. Paul, Minn., and began nurse's training at Anckor Hospital of Nursing.
While at a local dance she met her future husband, Milo. Milo and Lou Ella were married Jan. 11, 1942, and settled in South St. Paul, Minn., where they lived until they retired and moved to their lake home in Chisago City, Minn.
Lou Ella is survived by her sister, Pearl, of Sac City, Iowa; her husband, Milo; daughters: Carmen (Bill) Starr, Christine (Mark) Allen; sons: Louis (Linda) Radich, Steven Radich; 12 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren, with three more on the way.
Lou Ella is preceded in death by her parents, infant twin daughters: Eve and Eve Eella; brothers: Lawrence, Curtis, Leonard and Oliver.
She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
