James B. Neely, age 78, of Chisago City, formerly of White Bear Lake, 38 year employee of Hamm's Brewery, died June 18, 2007.

He was born October 11, 1928, in Elkhart, IN. He is a 1946 graduate of Concord High School. James married Dona Weber June 12, 1948, in Elkhart, IN

He is a WWII Veteran who enjoyed fishing, hunting and spending time at their summer place on Big Birch Lake in Grey Eagle, MN. He was also a Vikings and Twins fan.

He is survived by wife, Dona; seven Children; Cookie (Jerry) Fisher, Thomas (Beth) Neely, Pat (Bill) Joslin, Jill Twedt, Jim (Kirsten) Neely, Joe (Lisa) Neely and Rich (Laura) Neely; grandchildren: Julie, Jacquie, Brian, Randy, Dave, Mike, Jacquie, Jenny, Rocquie, Nicquie, Josh and Emma; and great-grandchildren: Sarah, Madalyn, Josie and Ashton.

Mass of Christian Burial 2 p.m., Thursday, June 21, 2007, at St. Bridget's Catholic Church in Lindstrom. Visitation one hour prior to service at church. Private interment. Arrangements by The Grandstrand Funeral Home in Lindstrom.
