Make sure to tell your mom how very special she is
You can bet that would never happen because the world would come to an abrupt halt. Even on Mother's Day there will be moms who are in the kitchen cleaning up after the wonderful breakfast in bed their families have created.
This Mother's Day make a concerted effort to show your mom or your children's mom just how special they truly are.
Being a mom is a monumental job and we are constantly guilty of taking them for granted. There are not enough thank yous in the world to adequately thank any mother. I would like to wish all moms, those that are with us and those who are in heaven, a very special Happy Mother's Day. God bless you for who you are and for all you do supporting all of us.
Even though Mother Nature can't seem to make up her mind, we are fast approaching the summer celebration season. This is a good time to remind all of those involved in putting on community celebrations what we need from them to help promote their event. We are more than happy to help and if we work together, we can do it painlessly. In order to make this all happen there are a few basic rules that you need to know.
When submitting your information, we need the name and number of a contact person who has all of the information available to them to give to us. We need you to plan to contact us well in advance of your event so that we have sufficient time to get the information printed prior to the event. We operate with a limited size staff and depend on you for much of the leg work and information. We are happy to promote your event and with good communication we will be able to do that. Good luck with your celebration and we look forward to working with you.
If you have yet to renew your subscription, time is running out. Within the next few weeks we will be stopping all unpaid subscriptions. As much as I hate doing this, there are some people out there that will take advantage of a free paper as long as they possibly can. So, please renew today and thank you very much to those who have already renewed.
In case you don't for some reason read our sports section, you are missing a really neat story. The Chisago Lakes boys baseball team is putting together an unbelievable season. Coach Pat Collins has molded what was an "up in the air" team into an amazing 12-1 conference leading team. If you are a fan of the game of baseball or just enjoy being outside in the spring, I would urge you to take in one of the remaining ball games at the high school. The product they put on the field will amaze you.
