Beloved husband, father and grandfather, age 56, of Lindstrom, and formerly of St. Paul, passed away May 18, 2007.

He is survived by wife, Kathy Earnest; son, Tom (Marlene) Dowdle, of Kennedy, Minn.; five grandchildren: Angela Carlin and her husband, Rick; Andy Kirkeby, Aaron Kirkeby, Alicia Dowdle and Alex Dowdle; two great grandchildren: Samanth Carlin and Zackary Carlin; sister, Patricia Eckhardt and her husband, Fred; nieces, Nicole and Beth, and other relatives and friends.

Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at St. Peter Catholic Church, Forest Lake, with Father Donald DeGrood presiding Tuesday, May 22, 2007. Friends and family gathered at Roberts Family Funeral Home, in Forest Lake. Graveside rites were held at Calvary Cemetery in Forest Lake with Andy Kirkeby, Aaron Kirkeby, Tom Anderson, John Hubman, Mike Kline and Don Gunderson acting as casketbearers. Alex Dowdle was an honorary casketbearer.
