Dennis Russell Adams, age 52, a resident of New Richmond, Wis., died Nov. 5, 2007, of a massive heart attack at the University Medical Center, Tucson, Arizona.

Dennis was born June 30, 1955, in Stillwater, Minn., to Russell and Dorothy (Petersen) Adams. Dennis graduated from Chisago Lakes High School in 1973, then joined the Army where he learned to drive semi. Dennis loved truck driving for over 25 years. The bigger the load the better. He loved his family and enjoyed hunting and fishing.

Dennis is survived by wife Cheryl; children: Jesse and Miranda, all of New Richmond, Wis.; Travis, of Minneapolis; Angela Taylor, of Garden City, Kansas; and Amy and Dalmer Durr, of Scott City, Kansas; father and mother-in-law Fred and Doris Fors, of Taylors Falls, Minn.; grandchildren: Lilly Adams, of New Richmond, Wis.; Jacob Peterson, of Circle Pines, Minn.; Savannah Adams, of Delavan, Wis.; Cheyenne Taylor, of Garden City, Kansas; and Hailey Durr, of Scott City, Kansas; parents, Russell and Dorothy Adams; brothers: Everett (JoAnn) Adams, of Shafer, Minn.; Wesley (Debbie) Adams, of St. Croix Falls, Wis.; Brian (LeeAnn) Adams, of Brooklyn Park, Minn.; sisters: Renae, of St. Croix Falls, Wis.; Linda Christensen of St. Croix Falls, Wis., Shelly and Kevin Price of St. Croix Falls, Wis.; brother and sister-in-law, Brian and Terry Heickel, of Anoka, Minn.; nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and friends.

He is preceded in death by grandparents Elmer and Alice Adams, of Somerset, Wis., and Nels Geo. and Eleanor Petersen, of St. Croix Falls, Wis.

Memorial service at 11 a.m., Dec. 1, 2007, at the American Legion, in St. Croix Falls, Wis., with Pastor Mark Peacock officiating.
