Daisy Elva Levern Engelbrecht, 84 of Lebanon Missouri, formerly Chisago City, MN died April 17, 2002 at Lebanon MO.

Daisy was born at Otho, Iowa November 7, 1917, the daughter of Ben and Janey Barton. She was buried with her husband at Fairview Cemetery, in Lindstrom MN May 19, 2002.

She is survived by her son Stanley Davis of Spirit Lake, ID; daughter Barbara Fredrickson, (Dale) of Lindstrom, MN; Joyce McGlothin of Lebanon, MO; Sharon Samuelson, (Dewey) of Pine City, MN; Gerald Davis of Lebanon, MO; Marcia Carpenter of St. Paul, MN. Daisy is also survived by her four step-children, 21 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren. Daisy and husband lived in many different states. She loved gardening and had many beautiful flowers in her gardens. She had huge vegetable gardens and canned much of the food the family ate. Daisy was a very hard worker. She often commented that there was nothing better than the enjoyment of her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband Alvin Engelbrecht of Luck WI; two sons; Roger Dale Davis of Pueblo, Colo; Ora Davis Milaca, MN; and her seven brothers and sisters. Private funerals were held in Labanon, MO and Lindstrom, MN.
