She was born in Arlington, South Dakota on September 8, 1912 to parents Severt and Anna Gullickson. Geneva married Alwin "Swen" Olson on May 3, 1932.
She is preceded in death by her husband Alwin "Swen"; daughters Dolores "Tootie" (Warren) Johnson and Delaine Anderson; siblings Josephine (Marshall) Plowman, Adolph (Olga), Blanche (Arthur) Peterson, Laura (Carl) Johnson, Gertrude (Matt) Koltes, Ada (Daniel) Twedell, Knute, Knute (Alice), Clarence (Christina), George (Loretta), Robert "Bud".
Geneva is survived by and will be dearly missed by, her grandchildren Steven Johnson, Jeanine (Marvin) Koenig, Mark Johnson, Marcia (Dennis) DuMoulin, Carrie Jo (Roger) Baertsch, and David Johnson; 19 great grandchildren and 12 great great grandchildren. son-in-law Curtis Anderson, sister-in-law Dorothy Gullickson, several nieces, nephews and many other relatives.
Funeral Services were Tuesday August 26, at Grandstrand Funeral Home in Lindstrom, MN.
Additional Funeral Services were Wednesday August 27, 2008 at United Lutheran Church in Elbow Lake, MN.
Interment at Ness Cemetery in Elbow Lake, MN.
In lieu of flowers memorials are preferred.
