Marilyn was preceded in death by her father and mother, Hjalmar and Laura Bloomquist, and her brothers, Donald, Al, and Leonard.
She is survived by her loving husband of 52 years, Francis Richard "Dick" Weinberger; sisters: Evelyn Youngquist (92) of North Branch, Margaret Hicks (84) of Cartersville, GA, Lucille Froberg (82) of Lindstrom, June (Jim) Gable (78) of St. Cloud, and brother, Nobel (Cathy) Bloomquist (86) of Burnsville; son, William "Bill" (Judy) of Kirkland, WA; daughters: Susan Perry, of Sedona, AZ, and Linda (David) Dickinson, of New Brighton, MN; six beautiful grandchildren and many beloved nieces and nephews.
Marilyn was born July 18, 1934 in Minneapolis, MN. She graduated from North Branch High School in 1952, and received her nursing degree from Swedish Hospital in 1955. After marrying Dick in Nov. 1955 she practiced nursing for a time. Then the family moved to Wisconsin and she turned her attention to raising her three children and being active at church. She especially enjoyed singing in the church choir.
Further moves took the family to Arizona and California before retiring with Dick to Sun City, AZ.
Marilyn will be laid to rest at the National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona in Phoenix. Memorials may be sent to the American Heart Association.

A service to celebrate Marilyn's life will be held at 1 p.m., Saturday, Feb. 23, 2008, in the chapel at the main building of the retirement center, The Villages of North Branch, (located just adjacent to the Outlet Mall) 5379-383rd St., North Branch.
