"Not our best meet of the year," said Wildcat head coach Brett Kjos, "but the girls did a good job with their first meet in AA. They did an outstanding job on the vault - one of our highest team scores of the year (34.200). Both Alicia (Sokol - 8.3) and Cassie (Schlegel - 8.5) set new personal bests."
Speaking of his team's performance on the beam and bars, Kjos said, "Not so good, but Alicia Sokol set a personal record on the beam with a score of 6.65. And, Andrea Olson set a personal best on the floor."
About senior Britni Harris, Kjos said, "A great job overall - a really nice meet for Britni. She had some nagging injuries, but worked through the pain and placed ninth all-around."
The coach added, "For the first time in roughly 12 years, a Chisago Lakes gymnast will not be representing our school at the State Gymnastics Meet. That's a record that, hopefully, we can start again next season."
