The Chisago City Park Board and the Girl Scouts invite youth in middle school, high schoolers and adults to be entrants in a Peep Diorama Contest during the annual Easter Egg Hunt, March 15, in Paradise Park, at 1:30 p.m.

Yes, "peeple" it's what it sounds like. The rules are as follows:

Must be size of a shoe box, no larger.

You must include your name, phone number and your hometown (out of sight) on the bottom of your entry diorama.

You must use peeps (those marshmallowy chicks and rabbits).

Display them in a creative fashion using themes like a current event, favorite movie, favorite band or any other pop culture.

Please title your exhibit.

Bring your entry to the pavilion in Paradise Park by 1:30 p.m. and place in section according to age groups marked.

So, to recap -- think of a display scene, place your peeps and bring them to the Paradise Park Pavilion March 15. Winners will be announced that day after judges have had time to look at all entries. Photos will be taken and prizes will be awarded. "Hop" to see you all there!

If you have questions please call Doris Zacho at 651-257-5464 Chisago City Parks Programmer.
