TRIO Wolf Creek Distance Learning Charter School announces Students of the Month for November.

Staff members have named Amber Briggs and April Zak as Students of the Month for November. These students received a certificate and trophy for their achievement.

Amber Briggs lives in Worthington and is completing her coursework completely online.  Stacy Bender, her learning manager declares, "Her dedication to her education shines through in her work as she turns in well thought-out work, works hard to be ahead of deadlines, and is willing to dialogue with her instructors. Amber is an excellent example of an independent learner who successfully uses the flexible schedule to enhance her life."

April Zak is a senior from Lakeville. "April completes her schoolwork almost entirely from a distance and has been very successful with her studies. She is a hard worker, pays attention to detail, and tries to work ahead of deadlines," explains Bender, who is also April's learning manager. In addition to being a student, April is a successful international figure skater and works part-time in her family business.
