The Chisago Lakes-St. Croix Falls alpine ski teams hosted the Wild Mountain Invitational Friday, December 21. Wildcat boys' teams finished seventh and ninth in the 28-team meet. The CL-SCF girls finished eighth and 11th.

The fastest four (of six) members of each team's times counted toward the team scores.

"Katy Garbe had her best race, finishing fourth individually," said Wildcat head coach Dan Raedeke. "Amanda Angel also had her best race, finishing 26th individually and third on the team. She has made great advances this year. Look for more great things to come. Our top skier (Simone Raedeke) crashed on her first run. She came back on the second run with the second fastest time."

Raedeke went on to comment on his team's upcoming schedule. "January is a very busy month. Starting January 8, there is a conference race every Tuesday and Invites on Jan 18 and 31."
