Florence A. (Bergquist) Peterson, age 104, of Chisago City, died January 5, 2008.

She was born April 3, 1903, in Chisago City, to parents Charles and Ida Bergquist.

She attended Chisago City High School and went on to the Duluth Normal College in Duluth, Minn.

Florence married Roy Peterson, in Chisago City, June 22, 1946, and spent 40 years in the banking business working at the bank in Chisago City and Center City.

She had volunteered at the Margaret Parmly Residence, Zion Lutheran Church and many more organizations over the years.

Florence is preceded in death by her husband, Roy Peterson; brothers: Archie, Chester, Eddie, Howard and Paul and twin sisters Ebba and Ruth.

She is survived by nieces and nephews Charles (Jean) Corson, Jeraldine (Al) Mann, Patricia Krengel, Farrell "Bud" (Dotty) Bergquist, Darrell (Vicky) Bergquist, Charles (Peggy) Bergquist, Richard (Vicky) Bergquist, and Barbara (Jay) Wright and many great nieces and nephews.

Funeral service 11 a.m., Thursday January 10, at Zion Lutheran Church in Chisago City. Interment at Chisago Lake Cemetery in Center City. Arrangements by Grandstrand Funeral Home in Lindstrom.
