Students in the Environmental Art course at Chisago Lakes High School, under the direction of Art Instructor Beth Carlson, have been working all term on the 58-foot wall at the pool entrance of the school.

The class consists of all juniors and seniors, who took on the challenge of the school's largest mural project to date. The theme of the mural is "Student Life."

All 16 members of the class took the theme and designed individual versions of how to interpreted this theme. As a collective group the students came up with the design with two Wildcats on either end with CHISAGO spelled out in the center.

Each letter represents "student life" with broken green glass as the backdrop and spotlights emphasizing each letter.

"It is an amazing mural that was done so well," Carlson said. "The class is filled with gifted artists, if you didn't see it in progress, you have to see it completed."
