Viking wrestlers finish fifth in Grand Rapids tournament
"We wrestled fairly well in this tourney," said Viking coach Tony Aho. "But we think we can do much better. There were a lot of teams in this one, and you have to be focused in every match in order to stay in the tourney.
"Tom Mork has dropped to 112 and looks like he is starting to get used to it, as he looked good in his third-place match. Boyd Suparat looked very sharp in this tourney. He puts a lot into this sport and is reaping the rewards for all of his hard work. He currently holds the win record with over 100 and will only add to it in the next two years. Greg Arnt wrestled a very tough kid in the finals and looked very good. He is getting closer to the very good wrestlers and will be ready for the postseason," Aho concluded.
