Chisago Lakes Children's Theatre Camp, under the direction of Dave Seaburg will present The Adventures of Tom Sawyer. This fun musical is based on the classic story by Mark Twain. Tom's humorous adventures begin with a whitewashed fence, a sweet girl named Becky, Huckleberry Finn, and tales of pirating and treasure hunting. Only after a surprising funeral and a murder trial where the truth is uncovered, does the audience see Tom not only as an adventurer, but also as a moral hero.

Families, friends and area residents are invited to see the performance of Tom Sawyer. A cast of local children from grades kindergarten through twelve will take to the stage on Wednesday August 6 at 7 p.m., and again on August 7 at 10 a.m. All ages will enjoy this fun community production. Tickets will be on sale at the door of the Chisago Lakes High School Performing Arts Center. All seats are general admission and priced at $5.
