The time has come once again to stop all unpaid subscriptions. Thank you to all who have sent in your subscriptions either early or by the deadline. For those of you who have failed to send in your payment, unfortunately we will stop delivery after this edition of the County Press. If there is some reason that you have not sent in your payment, like maybe it got lost or you misplaced it, all you have to do is send in $47 with your name and address, and we would love to get you up and running again. We appreciate each and every reader, and we sincerely hope you enjoy the paper as much as we do producing it.

If you are a big fan of outdoor music, then you have to be excited about Lindstrom's Harmony in the Park this year. The line-up for this year's concerts is one of the best ever, and offers something for everyone. Next week's feature band is Dyversaco Polka. From all I hear, if you love polka, this band is supposed to be wonderful. The following week you will have to get to Lions Park early because Elvis will be performing. The Elvis Experience is one of the most popular Elvis impersonators in the state, so get there early, maybe you will get one of his trademark scarves that he hands out.

The Karl Oskar Committee would like everyone to know that the 2008 Karl Oskar buttons are now on sale. The buttons cost $2 and can get you deals around the area just for wearing them. For instance, if you are wearing your Karl Oskar button and decide to purchase gas at Quick Stop, RPM, or Holiday Station, you will recieve 3 cents off per gallon of gas. You are required to pay cash to get the deal. Not too bad considering the current price of gas.

If you are wondering why Wally Carlsons & Sons is not included in the button deal, it is because they are playing a big part in the Cash Value Card promotion that you have seen all around the area. The Cash Value program gives money back to any local non-profit organization of your choice and is a really wonderful promotion. To learn more about the Cash Value program go to: www.cashvaluecard.com.

It's not too late to join Bella Womens Wellness women's soccer league. The season will run from June 18 until August 6. Any and all women are invited to participate. If you think that maybe you are a little out of shape and would feel out of place on the soccer field, think again. This is a league that concentrates on having fun and getting exercise. Your only responsibility will be to provide cleats, shin guards, and water, so you have nothing to lose. You can RSVP by calling 612-220-8944 or stop by Bella to register. There is no fee.

Mystery solved. The case of the missing plaque outside of the jail in Center City has not been stolen. As it turns out, the plaque that stands as a tribute to Westlund monument company, was loose and a jail employee smartly removed it before it was stolen. Here is a picture of the monument.
