Ron Lawrenz, Warner Nature Center Director, said 100 trees were downed. The hail was about the size of a billiard ball and extremely high winds affected the center's landscape.
"My guess is we have about a mile's worth of storm damages in the Warner woods," he added. All of the hiking trails are unsafe. The buildings escaped damage.
Trees are tipped over or sheared off high above the ground and pose hazards that will take some time to cleanup and get the center back in shape for public enjoyment.
