Frederick E. Burdick, age 64, of Chisago City, died Friday, June 13, 2008, at his residence.

He was born September 12, 1943 to Erwin and Geneva Burdick in Red Wing, Minnesota. Fred was an active member of The Church of St. Paul's Mandaree Mission in North Dakota. He also served in the US Marine Corps.

He is survived by wife, Paula; children: Dawn (Bryan) Ayers, Chris (Kim) Burdick, Jennifer (Steve) Wistrcill and Missy (Pete) Forsberg; 15 grandchildren; sisters Lois Holt and Sharon Weinhardt.

He was preceded in death by his parents Erwin and Geneva.

Mass of Christian Burial Thursday, June 19, 11 a.m. service at Church of St. Paul in Ham Lake, Minnesota with Fr. Jon Vander Ploeg officiating. Visitation Wednesday, June 18, 5-8 p.m. at Chapel and one hour before mass, at church.

Interment at Fort Snelling National Cemetery.
