TRIO Wolf Creek Distance Learning Charter School staff members have named Jesse Parks and Marcus Manson as Students of the Month for January. These students received a certificate and trophy for their achievement.

Jesse Parks lives in Chisago City. Jesse has attended TRIO Wolf Creek for three years. Stacy Bender, Jesse's learning manager, describes Jesse as follows, "Jesse has worked hard to attain good grades this year.  He is faithful in his lab attendance, uses his time wisely, and is an articulate writer. I am proud to work with him this year!"

Marcus Manson lives in Lino Lakes. He will be graduating this spring after attending TRIO Wolf Creek for two years. "Marcus is a very hard working young man.  Each assignment that he hands in is organized well, thorough and exciting to read!" explains Kelly Legg, his learning manager.

She continues, "He has come around from one year ago, when he was quiet, unsure of learning online, and did not turn assignments in on time. This year, he communicates with me on a regular basis, aces his classes, and is ready for college!"
