Staff members have named Lyn Friberg, Bridget Paulsen, and Michelle Pastorius as Students of the Month for May. These students will receive a certificate and trophy for their achievement.

Lyn Friberg is a senior from Stacy and will graduate this spring.  

"Lyn is a very hard worker. She started with us in the middle of quarter two and since then has worked hard at always being on track in her classes. The work she turns in is always complete and she puts great effort into everything she does," exclaims Cassie Gaede, Lyn's learning manager.

"She always has a smile on her face and is a pleasure to talk to.  She is on track to graduate this year and is looking at going for business next fall."

Bridget Paulson is also a senior who will graduate this spring. She lives in New Brighton. Stacy Bender, Bridget's learning manager, explains why she nominated her.

"Bridget has shown a great depth of understanding over difficult material. She works hard, puts a lot of effort into her work, and has high standards for herself. It is a joy to work with her."

Michelle Pastorius lives in North Branch. Cassie Gaede, Michelle's learning manager, describes why she nominated Michelle.

"Michelle has made many great strides this past year. She has faced many struggles although has kept a positive attitude and has made her school work her number one priority. She has worked hard all year to pass every class she has taken.

"She is always attending lab, participates in small group activities, checks in with me regularly and is a joy to talk to!"
