Howard T. Wing, of Osceola, Wis., died Friday, May 9, 2008, at the St. Croix Good Samaritan Center, at the age of 88.

Howard was born October 2, 1919, in Minneapolis, to John and Minnie Wing. He graduated from Minneapolis North High School in 1937. November 4, 1944, he married Margaret Eineke in St. Paul. He was a dairy farmer in Franconia Township, Minn.

Howard enjoyed watching sports, baseball, hockey and football. He bowled, was in a barbershop chorus, and enjoyed dancing to old time music.

Howard is preceded in death by his wife Margaret, his parents, brothers: John, Fred, Richard; and sisters: Helen and Louise.

He is survived by his sons: Scott, of Osceola, and Mark, of Rush City; and grandchildren: Tracy Gorman, David Wing and their families.

There will be a Memorial Service Saturday, May 31, at 11 a.m., at Elim Lutheran Church in Scandia. Arrangements by Grandstrand Funeral Home.
