LaVerne (Nee Nelson) Schlipp

LaVerne Schlipp, age 86, of North Branch passed away peacefully Oct. 7, after a very short battle with cancer.

Preceded in death by her husband Byron (July 13, 1985), sister Lillian Erickson and brothers, Lyle and Leslie.

Survived by her brother, Lloyd Nelson (Lucille), North Branch and sister Lois Anderson of Princeton, also survived by her children; Darla Ross of Forest Lake, Kendall of Mpls, and Kerry (Kelly) of Chisago City.

She was blessed with six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

LaVerne and Byron owned several businesses in the area which included grocery stores in Lindstrom and Wyoming, as well as Forest Lake Liquors and Chisago Warehouse Liquors.

A private celebration of LaVerne's life will be held for the family.

Hospice is the preferred choice for memorials.
